Poster Assignment

1. The best poster that I have is the first poster (bottom) because the emphasis on the topic i chose really stands out on what im talking about. The colours in the poster trually make the issue more readable and better to define what the emotion on the kids' face is trying to tell you. The contrast in the colours i chose tone down the emotion the picture had before and also the photo stands in the back while the text stands out more to let the reader get a clearer look on the issue, but the design of the poster captures attention on the issue of child abuse very good by making the picture bigger to incorperate text into it, it allows the poster to be creative and simple to let peoples minds think of the issue and know hat its talking about throgh a visual perspective. The readability of this poster is clear enough to read with the red in the text to express emotion in the poster's text while it stands out from the picture to make it be the first thing you see when you look at it

2. The theme or the broader issue of the posters that i've created are that pain should not be an option for kids who are currently being abused because child abuse allows kids to have their childhood stolen by careless people who they thought of counting on the most. Now child abuse is a silent crime and someone has to stand up against it, so my issue on these posters allow people to care about other kids who are being abused so that kids dont have to be lonely instead someone is gonna help those kids to have a happy life instead of a life in abuse that they should never had in the first place.

3. I sent the message by making my main topic of the poster "pain should be an option" large to make it stand out to create some meaning into what i want people to think when they look at it. Then incorperating "child abuse steals people's childhood away from them" at a medium sized text to let readers know what the problem is affecting to the children. By allowing a website at the bottom, i made people to find more info on the issue and leting them help children who can use the help thy need for a long time.

Video Storyboard Summary

When you try to start off a video or a digital story, then you obviously need a storyboard just because you use storyboards to try to communicate and what your message is so that you don't forget. Also, you use storyboards to know whats gonna happen at the right time.

Using storyboards will help what you need to include during the final touches on it to make sure that this is whats gonna happen, what this person is gonna say , the direction it gonna take, and also the music in the background of the presentation would also be nice to make the story more interesting.Storyboards will also edit and provide detail as to what section of the story needs to make sure that it goes like it was planned. Providing arrows in the diagram of the storyboard tells where the person is gonna walk to or head to depending on what the person is trying to reveal once its edited.

Audio Slideshow Summary

When doing Audio Slideshows, your trying to present something to your audience to let them know what your talking about without using much words by taking wide, medium, and also long shots to provide a base for the foundation to the audio slideshow.

Once you've got some photo you need, then you incorperate multiple photos into different locations so that its not to plain and boring to look at. After you have moved around the photos to how you've liked it to be, then you might include text or other details that will provide more detail as you figure what the user of the video is trying to tell you. Then finally, you could add some finising touches and as well from all of that you created audio slideshows.

Audio slideshows managed to change the life of photojournalism forever that once you use audio slideshows as a typical alternative for photojournalism then people might have some understand what you had shot to portray various images into a story based on a main topic during the beginning of producing slideshows. And also that you can layer on top of pictures as well to close gaps when adding pictures to form your slideshow

Anyways as I done this video story, i wanted to express what the school is about and the reason why this school is awsome and other reason that can be explained once you have watched this video.

Sequencing Video: Foundation of Storytelling

Sequencing videos compress time time into videos allowing video editors to create a better way to pace a story by using a variety of wide, medium and also tight shots. Once you understand the fundamentals of sequencing, you will be able to tell an effective and well-known story.

Minimizing time in videos is key because you have todecrease the time from minutes of shots in a video into minimal time in seconds that helps people understand whats going on. You must anticipate the action by thinking how this will turn out or what will happen from point a to b. First you shoot the action then the reaction but you have to minimize the shooting speed taken and you also have to keep the picture within the frame at all times. While sequencing a video, weight your shots to the tight end of the shooting spectrum. Tight shots provide great transitons between two wide and medium shots.

Light and Shadow Photography

Light and Shadow:
A technique in photography which uses the light to present an image around the thing being photographed to express the image in a more realistic view to let the photographer see and capture what the image is telling us. Light creates shadows and shadows also enhance the appearance of the picture or subject. Without the use of shadows, the object may appear dull and boring. Positions and strengths of the lights and shadows can also set the mood of the subject.

The first picture to describe (top) provides light and shadow by the letting in the light from the direction it follows; it tends to reveal the shadows based on the objects from surrounding locations such as the canyons and the pile of rocks. The second picture to describe (bottom) is about light and shadow by seeing this photo; you can tend to look at the light coming from the sun applying some shadows to the mountains and plants and also the clouds provide the elements of light and shadow because once the sun is projecting everywhere upon this photo, it also creates shadows behind the sun allowing to portray a great quality picture to express what is going on.

Photoshop Techniques Assignment

The photoshop technique that i've done for this assignment is Easy Blur because it was easy to do and it was nice to understand and its also a nice thing to discover and try on any photo of your choice to create Easy Blur. To express this photoshop technique, i chose a photo of my choice then i gone to Gaussian Blur and selected the opticy on the photo toexpress some blurr in the photo once it was done but not to much to over do it. Once it was complete, i was amazed on how this technique provided my picture into a expressive, but blurry picture.

CD Cover Assignment

For this cd cover assignment imange two reveal two great punk rock band covers. the first cd cover assignment(top) is called Dungeoneer and the album is called the essential thing in rationality. The name dugeoneer came from a non-collectable card game that allows you to battle monsters while the quote "the essential thing in rationality"came from Bertrand Russel. the second cd cover(bottom)is Terua and the album is called wind that blows no minds. the name Terua is name after a legume in the Fabraceae family and the quote"wind that blows no mind" came from Malaclyse of the Younger

Celeberty Assignment

For this assignment, i had managed to create a picture of Justin Bieber into a location that does make sense or in this case it make the celeberty in a place that it should be in for any reason. This assignment was easy to understand and as i was doing this assignment, i got the hang of it by making pictures of celeberties into picturesthat dont make sense but it actualy worked.

once i completed this assignment, it looked so amazing that it actually potray what the true meaning of two things that wouldnt be in the same place could work work on photo that i might do.

I first selected the person i wanted which is Justin Bieber with the Lasso tool then i deleted the beackground from the celeberty and placed Justin onto my scene of the desert to make people think that Justin Bieber is drowning in sand and there is no one around him that can rescue him.

Justin Bieber and the Canyons provide an ingrongruous scene because it allows me to think that since he is so great and all, i allowed this picture of Justin to be in the canyons all by himself were no one can find him because Justin always gets the attention to much, but this shows that he's all alone were no one can see him neither provide attention for him. The picture of Justin is in shadow because i want to allow light and shadow into this scene by making it look like the sun is hitting behind him the whole time.

Obama Assignment

For the obama assignment these two pictures have been used in photoshop to potray images in different forms to reveal what i have done to make final result. The most difficult part of this assignment is probably the 2nd obama picture(bottom) because once ive done the assignment it was crazy and i didnt understand much of what to do while i was doing it. The easiest part of the assignment is the 1st obama picture (top) because once i was doing this picture, i was able to understand and i was able to make the picture so beautiful and it allowed me to understand how to make pictures in photoshop.
For the first Obama picture (top), i selected the picture of Obama from the background and dragged it onto the picture of the wall of china then i shaped the size of Obama to make the picture look like he's actually there already. The second Obama picture(bottom), i used the lasso tool to select the picture of obama from the background then i selected the background and changed the colour then finally, i incorperated both layers together and added text to it.

Steve McCurry was best known for his photo "Afghan Girl" which was originally appeared in the National Geographic magazines.
